ESTIMATE YOUR FEES
Here are the ranges of initial payments we require in these common matters. These are not retainers, but flat fees. They include all court costs, postage, and copy costs because we don’t bill separately for those things. These are only guidelines and your case may be more or less, depending upon your specific facts and case history.
Uncontested Probate
- Uncontested probate or administration through appointment, no minor heirs: $2500-$4500
- Uncontested probate or administration through appointment, with minor heirs: $3500-$4500
- Uncontested year’s support through final order: $3500-$4500
Uncontested Guardianships
- Uncontested transfer of guardianship or conservatorship: $3500-$4500
- Uncontested guardianship or conservatorship through appointment: $3900-$4900
Minor Conservatorships
- Uncontested minor conservatorship through appointment: $3200-$4200
- Uncontested minor compromise claim: $3000-$4000
Contested Probate
- Contested administration, regarding identity of administrator: $3000 – $6500
- Contested probate, undue influence or incapacity: $3500 – $13500
- Settlement of accounts, seeking removal of personal representative (estate value <$200,000): $3500 – $9500
- Settlement of accounts, seeking removal of personal representative (estate value $200,000 to $500,000): $4500 – $13500
- Settlement of accounts, seeking removal of personal representative (estate value >$500,000): beginning at $15000
- Contested year’s support: $4500 – $13500
Contested Guardianship
- Contested guardianship or conservatorship: $3500 – $9500
